Here's a copy of my first entry;

Greetings. My name is Carmel and I am the resident feline. As I’m sure you can tell, obviously I am the superior creature in Argo City (Why else would the people be cleaning out my litter box and no the other way around?).

As such I will be periodically be taking over the blog for my own purposes. Today’s use; I would like to make an announcement. My water dish is empty. I require it to be filled immediately or I shall be forced to express my intestinal displeasure on the carpet.

The problem here is that the hospital isn;t giving him his antidepressant medication, and without it he gets paranoid and uncooperative. He's recovering physically from the pnemonia that origianlly put him there, but because he's not getting his medication, he's devloping other problems, not eating and not coooperatining with the nurses and doctors. Things are getting bad. Please keep him in prayer.

We get stinky goodness once a day here in the barn and crunchyfood all day. I never got stinky goodness before! The people said it made my litterbox smell bad. Well screw them! The entire world is my litterbox! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

An open letter

The fun thing about blogging is that reality can be adjusted bit to fit the story best. The people who know Moses know that this blog is usally a few days or even weeks behind reality.

The situation is this.

Moses has long recovered from his original trip to the vet. he is past his incontanance, and has demonstrated the ability to control.

He has however, for the last few months, started urinating all over the house. I mean, ALL over. Every room, on cloths, on appliances, the vacume cleaner, the amplifier, coats. He has not used his litter box at all in the last month.

We have tried for months to help him, to train him, with the advice of books and doctors (and yes 5-Cat, we tried google too). We have spent hundreds of dollars in vet bills and cleaning trying to correct this.

We don't think this is jealousy either. Moses gets on surprisingly well with the baby, and this behaviour preceeds her birth. But the Baby is the problem. We will not have her rolling and crawling around a house (not a room, a house) soaked in cat urine.

That means Moses has to go.

We have an aquaitnance who used to raise horses. She's long since retired, but her barn stilll remains, and is home to several cats. Moses moved into this barn on Tuesday. He gets stinky goodness every day and lots of crunchyfood.

Understand, we agree with all of you. Pets are not disposable. It would have been cruel to leave moses just out of the house, at the mercy of the ally cats around (Bibs and Graymalkin ARE real), and exposed in the elements. A new home was the only choice left.

We cried as we drove Moses to his new home, and cried as we drove home without him. We mourn the fact taht we may not be able to have another cat in this house. I've never lived without one.

We ended Moses' online story on what we hoped was a high note. I intended this blog to go on for years, but with the cat gone, it would be too painful to continue to write every day. Moses may still post ocasionally on Catnip Annonymous and the attack of teh tabbies. he may even post here once in awhile, but this blog as a daily project is sadly over. We can not tell you what it means to us that Moses found so many friends in teh blogsphere. We never imagined he would have this many visitors, or so many others saddened with us at his departure.

Moses is no longer with us, but he is alive, and has a chance to be happy, to make new friends....and of course to raise up a new army to take over the world.

After the thrashing I gave them last night, Graymalkin has promised never to come back. The girls are to scared to ever return to my yard. None of those cats have a spine when their leader has run....

Bibs ran off into the night vowing revenge. I believe him, and I believe that the little blurpy thing will never be safe while he is about. I'm going to have to do something about that. I'm the only one who can really hunt bibs down, even though that means going away.

The people left on Sunday, like they always do to go to "church". I don't know what "Church" is any more than I know what "Work" is, but I'm pretty sure "Church" is better. they come home sooner and in a better mood.
Anyhow, they left on Sunday morning AND FORGOT TO FEED ME! I get a scoop of food every morning. EVERY MORNING!!! There are NO exceptions.
No it dosen't matter that there was still a little food left in my dish. What would have happened if I had eaten that? I'll tell you what would have happened. I would have STARVED. That's what would have happened.
They filled up the bowl when they got home but that's no excuse.

What the people don't understand is that I know "opening can" does not automaticlly equal food. Nevertheless, it's my duty to come and check it out because it could mean food. The one time I don't check it out it will mean food. Besides, if I didn't come running, they'd think something was wrong with me and then shlep me over to the stabby place again, and no one want's that.

Well my punishment ended abruptly this weekend when the man dropped a couch on me.

Yes, you read that right. He dropped a couch on me!

The Woman lost one of her rings (something about a wedding set-whatever that means), and they were looking for it. so they tipped up the couch. I being the helpful kitty I am decided to give them a hand. Apparently they didn't notice me under the couch when the man put it back.

nothing broken, but my ears were ringing for days.

and I'm off punishement. In fact, perhaps it's the MAN'S turn to be grounded.

Okay, the quick explination of why I'm grounded. (It needs to be quick while the People are out, otherwise they willcatch me on the computer and tehn it will be TWO weeks.)

I'm still recovering and that makes me sensitive...down there. My people are good employees, but the do go cheap on my litter. the litter box can sometimes be...uncomfortable.

So I've been using the bathroom sink. Apparently they object to that.

I thought it was a good idea....

So the people have been locking me up in the bathroom when they are gone "Just in case". You know, if you didn't leave any laundry out, I wouldn't pee on it. Besides, I thought you didn't want me to do that on the carpet! I swear. These people, no gratitude.

So the man keeps telling me the I have to use the litterbox. that's what it's for, so on and so forth.

Fine. I showed him. I waited until he got in the shower and then let loose in the litterbox. And that smelled BAD. Overpowering the smell of soap in the shower.

Well the people talked to that quack pervo "Doctor" and he says it's normal for me to be heading for the litterbox all the time and that they shouldn't leave clothes or bathmats down on the floor because I might mistake them for a litterbox.

Obviously the people are misinterpreting the message. I know the diffrence between the Man's Superman pajamas and my litterbox. Really, it's not that hard to tell the diffrence. What I'm doing is payback for the pillowcase.

If the people were smart they would get thier money back from that pervo quack "doctor". He obviously knows nothing.

ARRG. You know, it's not bad enough that I'm feeling like crap. It's bad enough I haven't been aboe to use the litterbox for days. But nooooo my people have to make it worse. They have to wake me up, then the people tossed me in a pillowcase and drug me into the car. Then we hurtled off at unimaginable speeds to the stabby place.

Once there, I had to sit with them in the waiting room forever.

There was this annoying little dog in there too. He just wouldn't shut up, and he spoke in nothing but canine spanish. Boy he's lucky I'm sick or I would have smacked the taste out of his mouth.

Of course after that they took me in to see the "Doctor". DOCTOR MY FUZZY TUCHIS! That guy's a quack! He stuck a rubber tube up my...oh I can't even bear to describe it. Perv.

Video Game update;

The game is done. Really it is. we just need to put in the screens that tell the story (flimsy as it is) and it will be ready for downloading. That's taken a little longet than expected because of all the being sick and stuff. We'll finish it soon.

I personally went to our polling place, but surprisingly they didn't have me registered. I tried to d othe provisional ballot thing, but with no thumbs it was kind of hard. Using those touch screens would have been far nicer.

The man isn't thrilled about the touch screens because he says he works on computers for a living (whatever that means) and dosen't trust them, but for kitties they work really well.
