The cool thing is that when she gets older, there will be one more lap on which you can snuggle.

kukka and edsel are right - just look at it like one more purrson that will give you scritches and anofer lap.
From what I've seen, blurpy things stay in their mom's arms most of the time, higher up, leaving the lap for you. Of course, I don't do laps. I take the blankets next to my people, if I must. Blurpy things become sticky little people, but they dribble lots of food for us to discover.
Patience Moses, Patience! I agree with Kukka and Edsel and the Meezers. That's a real nice picture of you, Your Mom, and the little blurpy thing. It looks like your Mom loves you both very much.

Well, at least while the blurpy thing's asleep you're getting lots of attention. And the others are right!
That blurpy thing is a lot like Buddah. It's not going anywhere, so you might as well turn it into your favorite toy... But don't sit on its face! I sit on Buddah's but I don't think things would go over well if you sat on hers...
As long as blurpy thing isn't sleeping on you, it might make sense to let her get her nap time. Besides, you are still getting your ears scratched!
