Cry REEEEAL loud, and KEEP crying, even after they get you out, and be especially loud when they are trying to sleep. DON'T STOP (except for water and potty breaks)! Let them know how much this upset and hurt you...and then bite really hard in the leg! (And I am extremely sorry this keeps happening. I wish I could help you more!)
Moses, I'm so sorry for you! First the spinny thing now the basement. You've got to get them back. Have you tried jumping on their heads while they are sleeping?
We used to get put in the basement when we'd start bugging mom for food too early in the morning. But then we scratched up the door frame so badly she stopped. But we have neat bugs down there. And out litter boxes....
